THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS:

Ascorbic Acid Injection contains ascorbic acid. It is used to treat and prevent vitamin C deficiency. It is given when vitamin C deficiency is severe or taking tablets is difficult. Severe vitamin C deficiency could lead to a disease called scurvy which causes bleeding gums, anemia, bruising, and poor wound healing.

CAUTION & SCHEDULE:

For IM/I.V. Infusion/SC use only.
Refer enclosed leaflet for further information.
CAUTION: If any particle is visible, do not use the solution & ask for a free replacement.
Warning: Pressure may develop within the vial upon storage.
Exercise care when withdrawing.
Prepare stoppers with a suitable antiseptic solution. Use an aseptic technique. Do not use it unless the solution is clear and the seal is intact.
Any Unused Portion must be Discarded within 4 hrs.
