3. Manufacturing Process (F&D + Commercial Scale)

Step 1: Preparation of Surfactant Phase

• Charge purified water into the mixing vessel.
• Heat to 60–70°C.
• Add SLS/SLES, CAPB, and continue mixing until uniform.

Step 2: Active Ingredient Incorporation

• Cool to 40°C.
• Slowly add Ketoconazole premixed with solubiliser.
• Add ZPTO slurry under high shear for uniform dispersion.

Step 3: Additives & Conditioning Phase

• Add glycerin, preservatives, foam boosters, conditioning agents, and colour (optional).

Step 4: pH Adjustment

• Adjust pH to 5.0–6.5 using citric acid solution.

Step 5: Homogenization & Filtration

• Pass through filter and recirculate to achieve a smooth consistency.

Step 6: Filling & Packing

• Fill into HDPE / PET bottles / tubes.
• Pack into mono cartons, 3-ply/5-ply master cartons.
